Hi! Happy weekend! I’m going to try and take a little media break for the next day or so. I want to stay on top of current events, but every time I tune into the news, I have to hear about how the DOGE-bags are treating the federal government apparatus like a vengeful vandal would throw a bespoke, handblown glass vase and smash it against a concrete wall, just for mean funsies. This Cinnamon Toast Crunch collectible emoji box, that I just bought at Cub Foods on Nicollet, perfectly captures my NPR-listening face.

Here are a few places where you can read or listen to my work this week. If you’re checked out of the news cycle, I recommend listening to the latest episode of It’s My Screen Time Too, where my co-host Katie and I discuss the latest Dav Pilkey sensation: the Dogman movie.
I spoke about the harrowing experience of deleting my Target shopping app on the WedgeLIVE! podcast, along with host John Edwards and my adorable dog, Coco. Listen wherever you get podcasts, or watch on YouTube for the Coco appearance.
For Racket, I wrote about attending a City of Minneapolis disaster-preparedness workshop called “Ready Camp.” Read all about it and enjoy my silly lyrics, but definitely take note of my urban disaster preparedness To Do list at the end, especially if you don’t know your family members’ phone numbers.
Take care! If you have reading or listening recommendations, please leave them in the comments!
I want you to know I stopped shopping at Target because of your post a few weeks ago. I was on the fence about it, but decided I needed to at least try. So thank you.
